yes, my senior year of highschool, i nearly died of appendicitis. i thought i had a stomach virus but i had a ruptured appendix for a long time and gangrene and peritonitis and on top of that hadn't been eating( because i thought i had a stomach bug and i HATE throwing up so every time i get sick i stop eating so i have nothing to barf up.)
i overheard the doctor telling my parents that there was a 50/50 chance i wouldn't make it through the surgery... i got to spend lots of time in the hospital
