So many ideas huh? What other animals come to mind?

I always felt that it helped to pick the animal that I related with the most. I chose a Border Collie & German Shepherd because I felt I could relate to both breeds quite a bit.

The Jackal one was actually a gift from a close friend. :3
I still have I draw/design the German Shepherd one though... & I might want to make a Sumilov dog one as well.

I have a pretty strong connection to bats for some reason. I've liked them since I was little and I think their wings are gorgeous. The membranes and how the finger bones make the frame is awesome, and I've seen some REALLY cute fursonas as well as fursuits. They're just visually appealing.

The tree kangaroo was an animal I considered originally but the skunk won out. I have zero idea of why I relate to tree kangas besides how beautiful they are. I love that they have the face and snout of a kangaroo but the legs and tail of a lemur, since I also really like lemurs. This is actually what I'm leaning towards most now.

A couple of people have asked me why I haven't chosen a reptile since I like them the most but they just never transferred over into furries for me. I see very few reptilian fursonas that I like.

Tree kangaroos? Now that's something that I have to investigate... I've never heard of those. D:

Honestly, I'm wondering why some of my friends haven't a reptile one too. One's obsessed with dinosaurs. :P

The skunk won out, did it? What do you find appealing about them?

I personally like them because they're related to weasels & that entire family is just... adorable, I guess? XD
Mustelids have been a favorite of mine since my childhood. :3

Tree kangaroos are gorgeous! There was a guy we overheard at FCN talking about how his fursona was a red tree kangaroo and I was jealous. Skunks are just cute in general, and they've always been one of my favorite animals.

I still really like the bumblebee idea, or the manta ray. Both would be ridiculous.
