The Marriage (Definition of Marriage) Amendment Bill, allows same-sex couples to marry in New Zealand.
The bill received Royal Assent from the Governor-General on 19 April and thus will take effect on 19 August 2013.
Pōkarekare ana, is the song you hear being sung. It is an old love song that is THE love song in New Zealand.
