I know some of you don't follow me on twitter. BUUUUT
I'll be visiting my darling
leorenard up in Calgary from May 22nd to June 2nd.
So if any of you guys are around up there in that time period, let us know. We wanna hang with peeps and have fun and stuff~ =3
Also, for my sake, if any of you have some advice about air travel, please let me know. I've not been on a plane since 1997ish, sooo...I'm a little nervous and don't quite know what to expect. And I know a lot has changed since I was last on a plane...and flying makes me nervous. Help calm me down and feel safe at the terminal and in the skies! Send any advice my way, please. I'd appreciate it! ^^
Look out Canada, here I come! <3

Canada is not so ill-deserving to be visited by meanie foxes who pretend to be raichus!
In any case good luck with your trip.
don't even pretend that I'm worth your american dollars just so you can hit me =P
But it is extra money out of your way =P
I'll look at those guidelines!
And...my pants will be okay~ *checkmarks* X3
And what about when on the plane? Any advice on what to expect like...when traveling? I'm a total noob...and even a shudder will scare me probably ^^;;
They have wi-fi on most planes now (but it's not free).
Sure it leaves a gap sometimes but I always try to arrive at the airport 2 hours before my flight is scheduled to leave because who knows how long some of those security lines will be.
Always check the arrival/departure boards when you get to the airport to make sure your flight is still on time
Last I remember you can only have the smallest amount of liquids/pastes in your carry-on baggage, like a couple ounces maximum. If they find a water bottle or toothpaste tube in your bag they'll call you aside to discuss with you your options which is usually throwing it in the garbage so you can continue through security. So pack all toiletries in your checked luggage and wait to buy drinks until after security.
24 hours before your flight leaves you can usually check-in online to confirm that you'll be flying. The earlier you check-in the sooner you'll get to board/be closer to the front of the plane. You can also print your boarding passes at that point which will save you time from having to wait in line at the check-in counter unless you like snobby airline attendants. Checking-in early, depending on the airline, will also get you a better seat choice depending on your preference of aisle, middle, or window.
Always ask if you can request an Emergency Row seat and if you get lucky they'll put you there which is awesome 'cause they have more space between them and much more legroom. But there's only like 8 per plane XD
Since you're flying north into colder air you can expect turbulence during your flight. It doesn't usually last too long and the pilot will generally tell you if it's about to get more bumpy than usual so you can tighten your belt =P (I'm probably the only person who enjoys turbulence on an airplane, especially the really rough stuff, makes me feel like I'm on a roller coaster)
But for the most part just enjoy the flight ^^
The rotation (when becoming airborne) feels like a fun "push you into your seat" type of feeling.
Once flying, it's super smooth usually.
Landing is interesting. In a good way. My favorite part is when the brakes + reverse thrusters are engaged.. Those things sure can stop fast! :D
You'll love it.
Tell Leo to show you the west coast of BC someday, it'll blow your mind!
And west coasts. Man, I'd love to see the west coast of anything. I did spend ten years on an island on the east coast, but...seeing the sunrise over the ocean isn't probably anywhere near as cool as seeing the sunset over it >:
