Believe me, I've felt the same way sometimes. For the longest time, 'KOTOR' was stealing my life, shortly followed by 'Condemned: Criminal Origins'.

From what work I've seen out of you, it'll be worth a long wait to see. And, hey, I consider gaming to be a perfectly legit excuse to not be getting work done. At least you're enjoying yourself, right?

Anyway, keep yer chin up. You can leave artwork on a backburner, just don't forget it totally. That's all anyone can ask.

i gave up video gaming a long time ago back when the arcade industry went downhill around 1998. now i only play emulated games. it sucks getting really good at games no more. the main thing that causes video game addiction is that it gives the player the feeling that they are accomplishing something productive.

I suppose if a blackout is taking too long to occur you could always just ask someone to please remove the fuses to your house. I largely accredit that for getting me off of 'Black' when it was first released and forcing me to go finish a few fics.

Course now that Kingdom Hearts II is *finally* out over here, I doubt you'll be seeing much from me till I get about half way through it so don't feel you're alone in this fixation.

Gain superpowers so beating games won't take too long. :P Serious Sam 1 is generally beaten in 7-8 hours, Serious Sam 2 is beaten (not including final boss; that one sucks so bad) in about 16 hours.

Civilization 3 is a game you play for a couple of weeks, then move on. Eventually you'll return to it, unless you've got Civilization 4 by then. :P

Farcry? I tried it, didn't like. F.E.A.R. is much better anyways.

Oblivion is something I too am hassling with. It's a long long long long long game. The game would be better if they'd give Daedric artifacts DESCRIPTIONS! *lost Azura's star, thought it was useless, and later found out it to be one of the best magical artifacts in the game. This just because the idiots couldn't do lousy descriptions!*

Civ 4 is way superior to Civ 3. Just wanted to let you know. :3 I'm a big fan of it, but seriously lacks time at mastering it. -.- I kinda envy you now.

I played and played Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64 untill I finished. I don't believe it took more than 72 hours (sleep included.)

It is a tragedy when creative people are completely lost to video game playing. One solution is to find real-life people similar to yourself to hang out with regularly.

Though they couldn't QUITE get the voice of Sam quite right, the dry wit and black humor was sharper and more twisted than ever ^_^ MY SENSORS DETECT MUCH WIN. Truly excellent, sir.
