A sad day indeed. I also grew up with those glorious stop-motion-animated movies he had a hand in. His talents will be very missed.

He was a man of remarkable skills and talents. I regret that I never had the chance to meet him, but he will live on through his work. RIP, Mister Harryhausen.

I was shocked too.he did very good colour designs on his movies when he colourised them as well as she(1935) and things to come(1936).a pity they didint use a 35mm print though.
