YSU started out on a 16-2 run in the 1st 11:08 of the game, but many believe that UC was simply "rope-a-doping" them as they then answered with a run of their own, took the halftime lead of 44-35, and never looked back. YSU made a valient run for the title, but Underwood proved why they were #1-seeded in this tournament!
