Winning the lottery: day dreams.

Every once and a while, when the lottery gets into the triple digit millions, I spend 2$ for my chance to win, and then day dream until I inevitably loose. The likelihood of actually winning the jackpot is nil, but it still lets me day dream about what I'd get.
Most people say "I'd get a new house, new cars, quit my job, pay off mine and my families debts." and the usual stuff. Though the fact is that 90% of lottery winners end up where they started in 5-10 years, as if they never won at all. The problem is they spend money as if that income level they now have will last.
My day dream is this:
Assuming I win some umpteen XXX,000,000$, first thing is to make a plan so that the money works for me. Invest in something that will give me a return, or just let it sit in the bank and collect ludicrous interest. Make sure that I have an income, should what I want to do next eats up the rest.
Donate something to charity, some few million bucks.... help kids with aids or something.
Hire a geologist.
Hire an architect.
Hire a construction company.
With the architect, I'll show him the Fallout 3 vaults and have him design something like that.
With the geologist, have him look at the vault and find someplace in America where the ground is stable enough and has the proper ground rocks (Bed rock?) to construct such a thing.
Buy the land.
Have the construction company build it.
Now, in addition to having the money earn interest, I can have/host fallout con XD. I'm such a nerd.
BUT, the vault will be divided up into a few pieces.
The vault, just like something you'd explore in fallout 3, lotsa rooms, kitchen, ect...
My personal vault, essentially my house, a smaller vault themed house.
The dungeon, as an addition to my personal vault, have several large areas where there are things built. Gear room, beds, padded cells, ect.
Ideally the vault would be made outside of a large city, preferably in a desert region, but assessable easily within 1/2 or 1 hour. Considering that it's a private residence I wouldn't have to pay any money to Bethesda and so on. But it would be a great opportunity to give them a call and say, "Hey.... I have a complete Fallout themed vault and some land, want to build a park on top and use the vault as a hotel or something?" work out a deal with them to bring in more money using it as an attraction, where my private vault/kink areas would be accessible to me only, or separate with 1 connection corridor.
That's about my idea for that. Obviously that may eat up a decent chunk of the money. I can't honestly see something like that costing too much, cause a regular house WITH land is about 100K average cost, and figure triple the amount for the same area underground, and a vault is close to.... let's say 10 houses big in area. So I'm guessing 3 million? maybe double that to be safe. When all is said, let's say with land, construction and such, it's going to be 10 Million. a rather small piece of the large amount I'd win.
Oh, and I'll take the payments over time and not the whole lump sum. It would be a guaranteed income over time.
I'd probably furnish out the gear area with stuff, furniture, suits, bondage items...
I'd probably also keep a huge supply of fur around, and hold a raffle/lottery and make free suits once and a while.
Hmmm.... it's nice to day dream sometimes...

Where I am, Perth, West Australia, you can expect to pay at least $400/week for rent. Times that by 10, take 1 away for taxes and 1 away for maintenance, and that's still $3200 a week that will never go away. Under market value by a bit (350/week instead) just ensures they will never be empty. That's more money than I would know what to do with. I wouldn't even quit work, I'd just arrange to do part-time.
Regardless, what I'm trying to get at is that, if you were going to go into business in order to undercut everyone else that's been in business, it's likely you'll see losses rather than profits.
"Having an income" costs ~$10mil. Gives you a lot of money to work with.
Getting $XX0,000,000 (after the tax of the win, assuming you're going lump sum) is unlikely, but without the massive cash injection you could probably get a substantial income from the lottery instead.
