o.o I do not like thunder

It's been really humid in my home town over the past few days, and around here that usually means massive rain storm coming. To be honest, I was looking forward to it, since I usually get my best night's sleep during rain storms. Imagine my dismay when, instead of just rain, I hear the nasty CRACK-BOOM of thunder over my head!
o.O I hate thunder. Fear of getting struck by lightning aside, it's disruptive and intrusive, especially when it's right above my head! O~o the loud noise is not fun in the slightest bit.
>~< I didn't sleep well last night. It doesn't help that, due to the neighbours building a deck and cutting stone, we can't turn on our AC. I was sweltering last night it was horrible o~o
