Originally I thought I was going to be in Oskaloosa for several days like other trucking orientations I had been to in the past, but this was not the case. It was just an interview and driving test, which I hear that I passed. Afterward, they had someone drive me back to Burlington and now I need to wait for a call from H.R. to have the full orientation arranged at their main terminal in Blair, NE. It should only be a day or 2 before I know when that will be. I was also told that I will most likely be assigned to a dedicated route between Davenport, IA and Keokuk, IA which would eventually mean more home time (Burlington is right on that route). I'm excited about this, honestly, because even though it's a more local route, it would still be full time and the money would definitely add up!
