Where I've Been and What I'm Doing... PTSD Recovery.
I'm currently doing a new PTSD therapy that may be able to help me past my problems. It's a 12-week process (that I will have to repeat for each trauma, which are numerous), and this is week 3. This week is by far the hardest. The goal of this week is to look my past head on, accept that it happened, and realize that it's in the past.
I wrote out what I went through if anyone really wants to know, but I warn you, it's graphic and awful.

Hope this works out for you. I explain my triggers like the a huge tree with many branches (picture the tree of life) and a butterfly lands on the tiniest out-most branch, the energy transfers from that branch up a network of branches until it hits the trunk. Then the energy shoots down the trunk and shakes the root. Now the problem is sometimes the branches fall off and sometimes new ones grow, so my triggers change with time. Where I am is "OK now you have analyzed and re-analyzed the past and gained all you can from it. What is your present?" That's where I got to and then my therapist retired, and the new victim, uh therapist has not yet been assigned. MaHaHa.

Fair enough. lol I had to change therapists a few times when I got started, but I've kept this one for over four years now. Somehow I haven't scared her off yet. Good luck when you get assigned someone new. I always hated having to start from scratch and explain everything to a new person. x.=.x

Wow..that is some pretty rough stuff. Your mom is a retard, but then again maybe your grandparents should of taken yo with them knowing their daughter was not right in the head. I dunno.. but all that is completely understandable as to why certain personality quirks develop. Right from wrong just get completely jumbled and skewed.
