Ooooh I love survival servers. I like creative mode fine, but I always like actually doing something in the game to feel like it was worth it.

Agreed. Half the fun is being creative *with* the risk from survival mode.

Also it makes me farm, and I like farming. :D

I like farming too~ x3 It's always so much more worth it when you're looking over your shoulder while you build your base.

I was asking him if I could do the same thing, i guess when i asked him he thought i was rude or something. Ive been trying to get alot more experience hosting servers and this would've helped me :c Oh well, i dont have the best server computer anyways, so its better that someone that did was able to do this.

I'm sorry about that, I think Larc was looking for a person that had a lot of prior experience and had decent enough hardware that could run 24/7 on lag-less internet. I was just lucky that my friend could host it with a completely dedicated computer. It isn't anything personal though. If you want, you can join the server or apply for the admin positions in the future though! -Kyro

Awesome! As of the 1.5 update it seems that almost all the servers that i had in my list have gone offlone and it honestly really sucks :c glad to hear that theres another i can add to my list that will be up!

ya know there is a pulgin that allows for multiple world saves, so you can have a survival and a creative world going

Being the prolific builder that I am I would happily be on there, I am currently on a server where I am building a bridge (in survival mode) that is 13.57km long and we are almost done with it (3months) I also have a subway tunnel network that connects all the main houses on the server that I made myself I will post pics if asked to. Also a note if on the server with you all I will make a farm that will cover everything, thats just a habit of mine (solve server hunger)

here's a link to my wheat harvester design. each bay is 8x8 blocks, or 64 wheat. I've connected upto 32bays in a daisy-chain off of one lever.
only thing is it lagged the server when I triggered them all at once!
I ended up breaking them into groups of 4, less lag that way

I think I'll join myself, Like looking to play on other servers. :3

Does anyone else prefer building in a group? That is, some like-minded furs picking out an attractive piece of land and setting to work with some kind of general design aesthetic in mind? I'd enjoy that, personally. Let me know if anyone else thinks this way.

My building preferences are usually more about being visually pleasing rather than simply just large and ostentatious. (Personally, I use the John Smith HD texture pack)
I like to build with/into the scenery and work with a lot of glass, water, and decorations.

Maybe I'll be lucky and someone's interested. Speak up if ya are. :P

Any idea of how far we can travel from spawn before it's too far? I like to put some distance between my place and the starting point, but I don't want to cause any trouble.

Don't worry, there's people that have built 10,000 blocks out. Personally, I don't like it when people do that, but it isn't that big of a deal for me. -Kyro
