I'm allowed to have one mopey journal every few years, right?
I hit the brakes on my scooter this morning to slow down at an intersection like anyone would normally do. Well, for whatever reason, while my scooter did slow down -some-, it wasn't nearly as much as it should have.
I turned some to avoid running into a car and fell over. Scraped my arm pretty badly. It's not that bad, thankfully I'm not terribly injured or something; but it's enough that I'll be wearing a bandage for awhile and will probably have a scar.
After I got off work (we were slammed by busses of tourists... uh, metaphorically slammed) it turns out my scooter doesn't work anymore, and weird things indicate the starter is most likely terribly screwed up, because the kickstarter was too easy to push and made extra noise and the normal starter made an extremely worrying grinding thing happen.
So the day after tomorrow I'm going on a 10 hour car trip to Delaware for my grandpa's funeral, and then another 10 hour car trip back in a few days. I was debating getting a 3DS recently, although the thing is there's only like 2 games on it I actually want to play, and then I know I'd never touch it afterwords, so I'll probably only actually get one if someone would like to buy it from me afterwords (It'd be nigh-mint condition and come with Etrian Odyssey 4! And I'd probably give a reduced price.)
Not that I expect to find anyone who'd do that, but I figured it's worth mentioning.
There's other things that were already putting me in a blugh mood, but my scooter breaking is realllly augh. At least I don't have to worry about work for a little while because of the trip, I guess.
I'll be around all tomorrow and probably all tomorrow night so I can attempt (and fail) to sleep through some car trip. So I'll be around! Hi.
