Decided then! New character, named Irso
I'm going with an all new character.
He will be a bio-engineered dragon, an "infinitely re-configurable semi-synthetic organism" going by the name Irso
He was a willing participant in an experiment to see just how far a new nano technology could be pushed. His whole body, bones, muscles, hide, everything, are all a nano-machine maintained synthetic tissue, weaved in with natural organic tissue that can also be modified and maintained by the nano system. This gives him the ability to change his height, muscle mass, the size of his endowments, just about anything he wants. Aside from changing species and features, which he will always keep.
There is a catch however, he needs to take in mass to go up, and reduce his mass to go back down. He can shift mass around, increasing muscles by decreasing height, or the reverse. He can go hyper by trading mass off for it, and things like that. But in order to gain, he has to either eat stuff, and he can eat just about anything, or take in a special fluid through an intake port at the base of the back of his neck.
Also, everything he takes in is used, or reconfigured at a molecular level and stored, so there's never any waste, which means his total mass is always going up as he eats daily. This means he has to release some of it somehow, or he'd always be growing. And an interesting note is that unless he assigns the mass to something, it's automatically stored as reproductive mass, which has lead to an easy way to deal the excess. >.=.<
Physically he looks to be the same species of dragon as Razor, just without the titan gene. This means he lacks the plates on the sides of his snout and under his eyes. He's completely white, with grey claws, teeth, and horns. His eyes are a bright very bright yellow. His snout is shorter, and he has three spines under his horns, the top most being half the length of his horns and getting shorter as they go down.
All in all the character came together pretty fast, with the help of a lot of you! ^.=.^ I hope to be drawing him soon.

FA+

That just sort of popped into my head while I was discussing how he functions and such, and then I thought his name might work as an acronym. So Irso came out of that.
Personally I think it sounds pretty nice, and stands on it's own even without the fact it's an acronym.
Fortunately, Unk is someone who could compete on Iron Chef! He's got a Grandmaster's Cooking Trophy, which in EverQuest (the host game he hails from) is the most coveted, difficult to achieve, and gem-encrusted, albeit self-created award. It takes the tip-top skill to even attempt, and risks a tremendous amount of precious gems and metals to even try and make. Surprisingly, it's baked using an oven, like the most delicate souffle' and chocolate mousse' and 2 other impossible desserts all in combination simultaneously. Only when attended and fired with perfection does it come out unscorched, melted and forged and molded and shaped to absolute perfection, every facet in place, every gem set at the absolute perfect angle to catch the light perfectly, reflecting all the colors.
Anyway, it does mean he can cook up these "Misty Thicket Picnics" which are a Halfling's full lunch (and you know how much they eat!) in a single basket, which can nest in each other 20 times! Imagine all the wine, bread, meats, cheeses, fruit, etc., in these baskets yet can be tucked under a squat humanoid's arm and in bundles of 20 at that! Pop a stack down the throat of even Razor and I'd imagine his belly would grow a surprisingly large bump before his metabolism worked through it all... so no telling how much Irso could go through, especially when Unk can fix about... 6 bags of about 20 stacks each (of 20 baskets) of this food... xD
Naturally, if you're near the EverQuest Bazaar, you could purchase more stacks of them... perhaps even 100 on a good day... wouldn't run you more than 10 platinum I'd expect...
All in the name of growth and the fun of seeing just how far it can go. Unk assumes that somehow growth effects have a sympathetic "wave" or other process (feeding, e.g., of body fluids or what have you, if not just being within a certain radius of the size-shifter as they have growth spurts) that allows for some relative maintaining of size, more or less, so's not to become like a microbe on the skin of the newly-enlarged creature. Thus, continued interaction in some meaningful manner can be maintained throughout the cycle of play...
Furthermore, let's say that Razor is hot, but IRSO is quite hotter! However, I love them both...
