Where the Heck Have You Been?

crazyweezil kinda got me thinking that some furs out there might be wondering what is going on with me... Granted, I've never been the world's most prolific artist, but lately I've slowed to a snail's pace.
Here's the scoop... I changed jobs this week, but have been balancing two positions for the last month and a half. I didn't change companies, but am working in a different group within the same firm. Without too much whining, I've been working my patootie off trying to tie up loose ends in the position I just left so that I wouldn't leave a turd-pile for my successor and working in my new position, since the individual I am replacing dropped everything the minute he got a new position six weeks ago (and probably a lot before). The result has been a ton of late nights and weekend work to keep my old and new bosses happy. That doesn't even count the "Sammy Time" every day (not that I mind that at all; it's just that makes for less drawing time).
In any case, I'm hoping that as I learn my new job and as the days get rainier/shorter here, I can get more drawing time. In the interim, please bear with me... I will try to spend as much time as I can replying to all my friends out there and may even be able to scratch out a thing or two (if using Illustrator can be called scratching).
Thanx for your forbearance and patience!

As I said in the reply to the reply you sent me on my original posting of the note to you, I can be patient. At least I hope I said that.
In any case, I thought that I owed you and every one of my other friends, fans (hello? Any of you out there, or is it just hubris on my part?), and watchers an explanation of my current plight...
Hopefully, things will get better job-wise soon!
Sincerely though, thanks and no worries!

Don't worry, I didn't get any slag-mail flaming me for this. Just wanted to let everyone ELSE know what was up, too. No worries about when you get stuff posted, know that you're doing your best with RL and all.

Speaking of my mouse, Sammy also expects to be kept in the style to which she has become accustomed... And woe betide the poor schmuck who falls afoul of that she-rodent!
Thanx Mapper!

Thanx again though!

Ten more years and hopefully I'll be able to say the same thing. =+}
I'm tired of dealing with adult "children" who think this is a 9 to 5 job and whine when they have to stay late. They don't seem to understand the team concept, when one of us fails we all do, so we pull together and help out the folk that need it. And those that constantly can't pull their weight should look for employment elsewhere. It's a tought stance, but if I have to keep doing other folks job then get rid of them and let me freakin' do it.
Heh, sorry, end rant. =+P
