so
some of you may??? know that i'm going to be moving in with
and
relatively soon. and for those of you who have kept up with my journals for the past couple of years almost, you know how long i've been anticipating my first move.
but i just learned that it may be much sooner than anticipated. personally, i was hoping i had another 2 months. but it turns out that it may be another 2 weeks. we've been searching the ass crack of craigslist trying to find a decent place that fit our budget and it seems like they found one today. by the time i move out, i'll probably have about 3k in my savings and another $500 that my mother will be paying back to me in bi-monthly installments of $50 each deposit (until paid back entirely).
however,
that means i'm going to have to scramble to solidify a new job with lightening speed and somehow figure out how to make do with the small amount in my savings. so far, it's looking like deposits for the house are going to be around $1,000 just for my share alone- a third of my savings. Then the deposit for our electricity... which i'm not quite sure how that will work out. FPL is a confusing company. So, assuming that my electricity deposit is like $200 at most, that leaves $1,800 in my savings. Then, I have little things in my car that need to be replaced at some point or another. But I'm spazzing too hard so I'm gonna put that off for a while. Of course, the initial acquiring of furnishings and kitchen supplies is going to wipe me out quite a bit as well.
So, I'm hoping to at least retain $1,000 of the original $3,000 in my savings.
WOW BEING AN ADULT IS HARD
but, real talk, what do you suggest i do? where do i start? is there any little tips and tricks i should know?
aaahhhhh fuckin hell

Obviously start putting in apps now and seeing if your can solidify a change of location even with your current jobs, sometimes you luck out and grab an opening with the same companies and can have that to rely on. Lay off furnishings and other shit until you've got your other financial things in control, you can always bum second hand kitchenware off of parents or friends etc.
We got some second hand kitchen shit
and a couch
and a bed
and another bed
and some boxes
TACO BELL EVERY NIGHT AINT HEALTHY FOR BODY OR MIND
And eventually wallet
I assumed you'd have some second hand stuff. Hell, most of my gear is second hand and I'm crazy about cooking. It's nice to have familiarity with your pots and pans. *affectionate sigh*
teach me to cook
:O OKAY. Come over and I'll show you a million cheap "college" recipes that'll feed you for like forever.
specify thought because my mom is like itching to buy me kitchen shit. she cooks 24/7.
I was thinkin about it and moNEY. I mean, I'd prefer to move like around August 20th. But it's weird to spend money on a place that I'm noteven in, yaknow? AND NO SLYPE. I am gross and stuffy for no reason right now. also strangely irritable.
Also I think we oughta rock paper scizzors these rooms.
#1 Carpet, larger closet
#2 Carpet, medium closet
#3 Tile, medium closet, must walk through this room to get to wash room.
It's really no big deal but I think they go in that order for ranking.
