AC and updates

Test: Top
Been back from AC for almost a week and am just now writing a journal about it, partly because I'm busy, partly because I'm lazy. Anyways, AC was a blast, got to see some friends I hardly ever get to see, got to meet some new people, and had a lot of fun. The only downside is that I STILL don't have a fursuit of my own. Ack! I need to hurry up and get one. Hopefully I'll have something by early next year. Eh, still was a lot of fun and really hope I get to go next year.
Unfortunately, I have no idea if that's even possible at this point. I just finished my first school year (damn near killed myself studying for the comp exam) and I'm not looking forward to next year. On top of classes and research, I get to start TAing next year (the TA stands for teaching assistant), so that's just gonna add more stress to my life. More than that, if I can't get funding, either through fellowships, grants, or from my PI, then I'll have to get it from the school, meaning I'll be TAing during the summer and won't get to go to AC until I'm done, which won't be for a few years. D: Not much I can do about it though. Just gotta wait and see what happens.
So, life is good, but busy. Hope everyone has a great summer. *hugs you all*

It's grad school. It's expected. But hey, I can at least enjoy it as best I can, right?
