I dunno... then again, I only JUST got a 3DS and a copy of the 3DS version of Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

RPGs and such is what I play... fighters I save for the arcade. Sigh... I miss arcades. Arcades were the shizz.

I... Really think it's been well overblown with the first Version getting an update... and Capcom swaring they weren't gonna make a single update to the old one, rather make you buy the Newer one at a discounted 'Slightly' price. And yet here we are on the 5th instalment, and we're going about with another hand full of charaters, some new modes and costumes... all of which could jsut be DLC instead of forced 'Full package' buys. It's abit mroe annoying to have to buy a new copy of the Same game with the 'DLC' content and patches you could've just downloaded, but that's... sadly how people have allowed capcom to work. IF we didn't have internet then yeah be nice to have like with RE 5 a 'GOld' edition with all the updates, and still have the optional DLC but come ON! IF you liek the Series, and a particular 'Game' get that one, and expect no support... if you wanna kept spending close to a finger for a Patch to rid yoruself of somones slick combos either online or off, your choice.

I'm pretty sure Ultra is also going to be DLC. There will be a physical version of the game as well.

one thing with that is... I don't trust Capcom anymore then they trust a megaman game beign Good... there might jsut be testing the waters saying there 'Is' a DLC game and pull the plug on it later, or they might make the DLC the actual full game and you need atleast the Super Disk to even run it... They've yet to really do too much good with a legit game, including patches and Proper DLC so I'm jsut not gonna buy into it till release day and see what others say on it.

Well...Arcade Edition was both DLC and made as a disk too. I figured they would do the same for Ultra. Also I think you can just download Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition as a digital game as well, so again I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for Ultra. I dunno, my big problem is that I felt like the game was perfect the way it was. I just hope this will be truely the last update.

Urrm... Funky thing aboutt aht si taht every game is almost garenteed to eb DLC sooner or later with the market these days. Capcom can promise DLC version of the game, and only release a Disk version 'Now' and in about a month the DLC version is on the Live/PSN network and they can go abck and say 'We promsied it woudl be there, Just not when' or even deny that it was palnned to be a same day release.

I honestly don't trust Capcom with what they say they're gonna do till the Day happens and something sumstantial is out fo me to actually own. Marvel 3 Kills me still to this day taht they promised 2 Charaters free on game release, but never gave any release code for the Charaters, FOrced everyoen to pay an extra 8 bucls for them. Re-releases Marvel 3, and AGAIN leaves the 'Same two charaters' off disk (Possibly on disk DLC) and makes you Re-buy them cause they're not gonna update or patch the older one. They've been throwing poor excuses for lack-luster developtment on there games, There patches, there DLC, any and all promise is half applied so I'm just gonna give them a 'Yeah sure' till release date, and see what happens personally.

But to your orinigal question, They've been over saturated with Repeatedly released copies of the same game since the second release of Street Fighter IV. They coul've released the cahraters as Seprate or Pack DLC, patches for the game, and the like, but they didn't. They milked the game for all it's worth, and aviod using tehre servers for anything but the Gameplay, and even then it's not a perfect thing, it has lags, and bad connections, about the same if not more then there gammign Competors, who actually by that mark DO Patches, DLC, and even the likes of Netherrelms studios do 'HotFix's' where a Charater who has a glitch or 'Super Death Combo' get's fixed and patched ont he fly, instead of charging the consumer another 40+ bucks for a fix on a charater that 'Everyone' is using, Pause down to 4 months for the Next version of theg ame to be dropped, and still not even fix that 'Last' version of the game, liek your playing a Super Nintendo instead of a ONline system that 'DOES' support Patching.
