With everything going on in July, I was pleasantly surprised with the group that turned out to bowl and/ or hang out this past weekend! I bowled after all (after initially planning to skip that for the first time) but my lane finished pretty quickly, and so there was plenty of time to socialize and hang out with some I have known for a while as well as meet a few new friends.
With 4 more of these left this year, I hope I get to attend a couple more -- especially since who knows what will be going on in 2014, both with Delaware Furbowl or successor, or on the personal front. Might be fun to attend an after party for one of the remaining ones too... We'll see!

For a "bowling event" usually a lot of other stuff is going on, which is cool. I may seek out other smaller gatherings though too in the near future for variety sake.
