wow!!
it's pretty dang cool to draw again.

i've been working on a couple of trades with people and i'm really having fun with them.

i think it's much easier when i don't feel like i have serious obligations to draw something. i'm grossly non-committal, so when things seem to require a serious commitment, i tend to go blank and lose confidence and just stop drawing.

so as far as commission work is concerned, i don't think i'll be doing the commission thing for a while. and, if i do ever get back into that, it'll be like one slot every so often so i don't end up giving myself weird anxiety about it.

in other words, i really want to get back into playing around with my art. i like taking my time. i like editing and experimenting and sketching several ideas and images for the final product-no matter how small and unimpressive that final product is. i like feeling like i don't have an obligation to make something a certain way.

plus, i feel like most of the stuff i post is just the same old thing. but anyway, i think i'm gonna start playing with new styles and get out of that funk of skinny animal people smoking cigarettes, ya dig??
