Greetings FLB Fans!
The new way of getting stats delivered seems to be doing well both with speed of getting them into the system and also providing a good backup in case I don't have them typed up in time. Next week I'm going to put the current leaders in most categories up in the GooDoc page but I hope you're all having a fun time. Let me know if you need anything, and PLEASE feel free to have some fun, produce some IC press releases, write your own recaps, have some fun!

Injuries
Martin Bane (HAW/RF/Gryphon) out 11 days, torn knee meniscus
Lord Pichupal (MAR/SP/Pika) Out 11-12 Months, Ruptured tricep Tendon.
Bobby Abbot (QCR/3B/Ermine) 11 months, torn abdominal muscle
George Cameron (CHA/C/Alligator) 6 Weeks-Fractured ulna
Maria Francisco (TOU/SP/Ocelot) 8 Days- Weakened Arm
Rory Brown (WAS/C/Squirrel) 8 days- bronchitis.
The Sternwheelers would usually go into a tailspin after a drubbing like last night but not so, flexing their muscles and doing some drubbing of their own. Alanis MacKinven was the player of the game, going two for four with a walk and three RBI including a solo home run in the 3rd inning. The win allowed struggling pitcher Dave Zimmerman to pick up his second win on the year and shave half a run off of his ERA.
It was quite a day for offense at the Big Punchbowl with five home runs hit today. But one exception is Edmond Harrison (OMA/CF/Rhino) who scored a bagel in five at bats today. Today's slump saw the rhino sink below .400 for the first time in most of the season and hitless in his last two games. This adds a new wrinkle for the race to the Triple Crown, as Harrison was leading most notable categories. This sets up a rivalry with last year's MVP Luis "Papi Gato" Marquez (NLP/OF/Cougar) and is sure to be an exciting race.
Washington is showing signs of shaking off their losing streak already with a powerful 5th and 7th inning, sealing away the Titans, though the Titans did have good showing from Claudia Orlov, the Russian sensation who exploded onto the scene last year as the Rookie of the Year and picked up in the dispersal draft. She went 3 for 5 today with a 3-run blast in the fourth inning.
Another contentious day in Charleston between the two rivals as the Swamp Foxes fell further from first place with today's loss. Jane Howard, among the aces of the league was rattled for 10 hits and four runs today, one of her worst outings of the season. In contrast, Graham Hollinger gave up only a single unearned run on two hits in a complete game. Howard was able to keep A-Bomb inside the part today however, cooling the coyote's heels with only a single hit on the day.
Speaking of Papi Gato, Marquez hit a solo home run in the 4th today, bringing his total to 10 for the year and already up to 26 RBI on a 2 for 3 day as the Pelicans stomped on the River Rats in a four-run fifth inning to cement their lead in the Eastern Division; quickly shaking off the ghosts of their move from Quebec.
