A recent move by the owners and commissioner to change how officials have caused a severe roadblock for the 2015 season. Changes to the pay structure and benefits in the contract of the FLB officials have been found too low for the union. While this does not affect the player contract as they have a CBA signed two years ago that runs through 2019, several union reps have threatened to strike along with the officials in a sympathy move.

Officials with the FLB are noting that if a strike happens, the season is in jeopardy.

I've had a few good talks and comments, and so far it's leaning towards that putting the 2015 season on hiatus in order to bring a complete 2016 season, as opposed to a short-run 2015 season is the better idea. However, I am still open to suggestions and comments from FLB agents, GMs, and fans.


In other news, I need 4 more teams for the inaugural 2015 FLB Fantasy Baseball League, with the fantasy draft to be held on Monday, March 30 at 7:30 PM EST. This is a standard MLB fantasy league hosted for free on ESPN for fun, with six slots already filled. The league must be filled before the draft, so I have 4 slots for any interested.
