Greetings FLB Fans!
I'll admit that the engine does weird things from time to time. Today came in the form of Lord Pichupal's injury suddenly turning into a torn meniscus and healing completely; instead of re-rolling the last few days and flipping out I decided it would just be easier to change the injury. This is why we save every day...

Injuries
Martin Bane (HAW/RF/Gryphon) out 11 days, torn knee meniscus
Bobby Abbot (QCR/3B/Ermine) 11 months, torn abdominal muscle
George Cameron (CHA/C/Alligator) 6 Weeks-Fractured ulna
Maria Francisco (TOU/SP/Ocelot) 8 Days- Weakened Arm
Rory Brown (WAS/C/Squirrel) 8 days- bronchitis.
R. Ryian continued his strong presence on the mound, throwing eight scorless innings and ten strikes to bring his scoreless innings streak to 16. Every starting Tiki had a hit in the game, though for the Meadowlarks a glimmer of happiness came in the form of Edmond Harrison going 2 for 4.
When it was announced that Lord Pichupal had a ruptured tricep tendon, many Sternwheelers fans felt that it was the end of the season. But as the pika entered an expirmental treatment, it was seen that the tendon was doing better than it had been originally diagnosed, and four weeks later, he was back on the mound, throwing heat. Lew "Crankbait" Zebco (MAR/Manager/Otter) was wisely conservative with the tender arm of his pitcher, pulling Pichupal in the sixth, but the solid first inning was enough to gain the pitcher his second win of the season.
The contentious atmosphere of the series boiled out into a brawl in the ninth inning, as for retaliation of Benito Rodriguez's celebration of his home run in the sixth inning and frustration of Harriet Featherwind's grand slam, Eileen Massey (CHA/RP/Lion) zinged two balls right at the ferret's head. THere were heated words shared and right when a third went nearly to his chin, Rodriguez went to the mound in a bench-clearing brawl that lasted for ten minutes. It marred an otherwise power-packed day for the Pioneers who swept the rival Swamp Foxes, leaving many to wonder if suspensions are going to be handed down.
Mathias Vers had a very rough first outing, newly activated from Free Agency to replace Xavier Freitas (NLP/RP/Jackal) in the rotation. The new pitcher was shelled hard in the entire three innings of his outing, passing out 8 hits and 7 runs.

Pete Myers is sure making the organist earn his paycheck and keeping the fans singing along at Hormel Park with all the homers he's blasting!

Erf...call it first start jitters on Vers' end. I could tell he looked a little nervous out there, but a little more time with the club should settle him down a bit.

Wow, what a twist this is. Really thankful to have recovered from my injury well ahead of schedule, guess the doctor who diagnosed it made a mistake before. I'm happy I could be back on the mound and helping my team put another W on the board. Really like all that offense I got in my return, too.

OOf...my players are having no luck right now, especially Kitspatrick.
