ack dropped lappys not good ive been lucky with mine falling twice with only a crack in the case near the keys

good luck with it sometimes (if its out of warrently) you can pick up screens on ebay its just a plug in cord inside the case

If the warranty won't cover it, maybe someone has a similar laptop laying around with a functional screen they can spare. I've been keeping an eye out for a motherboard/parts to fix my old laptop. Good luck!

I was winding up a keyboard cord, and it whipped around and cought the screen right in the middle, and put a nice lil tiny dot gash in it. Right In the middle of my view, so Its highly irritating seeing this dot right where I am usually painting at. That and I try to use the eraser on it all the time, making me angry all over again.

Sigh... darn it electronics, why can't you be tough like the old stuff?

Oh geez. That has got to be unbelievably annoying. I did something similar with this screen--gave it a little scratch, and I also kept trying to erase it all the time.

Yes, I'd much rather these things have nice solid monitor screens like computers did in the old days...

Ah, I understand now! Hahaha... she looks just like my cat whenever he brought in dead animals... so proud to have collected such magnificent 'presents' for his owners! xD

Oh yes, no doubt my cat was the inspiration behind this.

I use to have one cat that would bring dead birds in and place them on my pillow as gifts. O_O! He was so proud.

Unprompted story: My cat Scamper was a buff little Tabby who likes to rule the world beyond our house and one day he stopped coming back. So, I waited and waited and waited and when about a year went by I just assumed the worst. So, we moved on and my sister got a kitten (there were 7 of us children so 'pet rights' kind of passed down the line). He looked just like Scamper. Which...must have not made him happy because THREE YEARS and 2 MONTHS later I came home to find Scamper curled up on the chair in my bedroom, having come in through the window, and the darn cat has always acted as if nothing ever happened...

My cat once brought a LIVE SHREW into my room at ONE IN THE MORNING and set it loose into my clean laundry. Another time, one of them brought in a dead mouse and somehow managed to get it <i>under the expensive rug</i> and then someone stepped on it and made instant mouse jello.

And wow... he sure took his sweet time, huh? That's pretty darn amazing.
