Good grief.

Just so everyone knows... I'm not posting any artwork because yesterday, I knocked my laptop onto the floor and now 75% of the screen is completely FUBAR. All pretty black-and-white spiderwebs and colored vertical lines.
I'll see what I can't do about doing some artwork on campus computers (and seeing if my laptop warranty covers this mess!)
By the way, thank you to everyone for giving me such a warm welcome to this site. Your kind words have made me feel very loved! <3

good luck with it sometimes (if its out of warrently) you can pick up screens on ebay its just a plug in cord inside the case
I was looking forward to see what else your going to have fun doing and submitting heheh, Well take your time, good luck, I hope they do cover it. I feel ya though, I bought a 400 dollar lcdhd screen I have now, and know what I did the first day?
I was winding up a keyboard cord, and it whipped around and cought the screen right in the middle, and put a nice lil tiny dot gash in it. Right In the middle of my view, so Its highly irritating seeing this dot right where I am usually painting at. That and I try to use the eraser on it all the time, making me angry all over again.
Sigh... darn it electronics, why can't you be tough like the old stuff?
Yes, I'd much rather these things have nice solid monitor screens like computers did in the old days...
I usually cry after I do something like that. ;~;
I hope it gets fixed soon with little to no quill-pulling-out XD
Thank you. <3
PS What the HECK is your icon it frightens me but is oddly fascinating. o_o

I use to have one cat that would bring dead birds in and place them on my pillow as gifts. O_O! He was so proud.
Unprompted story: My cat Scamper was a buff little Tabby who likes to rule the world beyond our house and one day he stopped coming back. So, I waited and waited and waited and when about a year went by I just assumed the worst. So, we moved on and my sister got a kitten (there were 7 of us children so 'pet rights' kind of passed down the line). He looked just like Scamper. Which...must have not made him happy because THREE YEARS and 2 MONTHS later I came home to find Scamper curled up on the chair in my bedroom, having come in through the window, and the darn cat has always acted as if nothing ever happened...
And wow... he sure took his sweet time, huh? That's pretty darn amazing.
