Where do you get the time and money to travel so much?

I'm unemployed so I've got all the time in the world.

In terms of money, I'm simply using what I've saved up over the years. Backpacking Asia was cheap ~ coming back to North America, I'm just making the most of what accommodations people can offer and hitting up the free touristy stuff :P

FAO Schwarz, but somehow I think you already knew that. :)

The Staten Island Ferry is free to ride and gives you a nice view of Manhattan.

If you decide to splurge and see a broadway musical, I recommend Avenue Q, Wicked or The Book of Mormon.

The best cheap place to stay in Manhattan is the hostel on Amsterdam Avenue. $50 per night and just blocks from the subway.
