I simply think dA if full of brats, even when they are legal they still are brats. You named a few things I personally dislike but, WTH!? I just don't like them, as most people doesn't like what I do or what I like. But live and let live! xD Flaming is stupid, useless. But it's true that it affects some people, those bad words make some of us feel bad and that's when flaming gets more than annoying.

It's ridiculous... I don't know why people would want to make such a big deal out of it--it's not like drawing something half-human, half-animal is meant to be OFFENSIVE of anything... Look at the macabre section of DA!! I'd say there's more to complain about in THAT area than there would of the entirety that is furry artwork! People are just -way- overly anal about furry artwork.
