I barter a *lot* rather than selling and while I'm biased, I've got one impressive lair. The only four dragons in there I've paid for (genes don't count lmao) are:
Shiva(who was an in-flight special and CHEAP for an Imp)
Hesperus (when all the SD babies flooded the market, he wasn't bad at all)
Veles (manic spent on him, so pretty)
Pontus(my first dual-gened dragon)

The rest came as barters, most at least partially gened. Even Pele was a barter!

I know, but they'll get it back up and stable again -- I was able to play via phone earlier with 2200 people on, so that seems to be the buckling point.
