Computer died ;_;

so about 1 month ago, my stationary computer died... aka all the art stuff I worked on died with it. It works but everytime I hook it into the network it shortcircuit the network and ofc can't connect to the internet ;_;
meh, i think its a hardwear failure, but Im unsure, anyone that got an idea?
got a letter back were it said it was a softwear failure and they want 1850 kronor (durr like... 19 euros, 250 USdollar) FOR A REINSTALLATION?! wtf?

why didn't you just talk to me, i could *probably* fix it.
or at least LOOK at it.
and if it's about a reinstallation, that's ALWAYS fixable free.
store is ALWAYS last option.
i chose to reformat and do genocide on my files rather than give the dator till onoff.
