Not really, but she does gekker a bit if she steals my camera case (then again, most foxes will do that ) she squeaks and squeals for joy and runs right up to me when I call her name. The fact that I've hadn't anything go horribly wrong when I'm in her cage alone must say something about the relationship she has with me. I mean yeah, I'm not her owner, but I'd like to believe that she has at least a rudimentary level of trust when Skitter's around me. That canid smile, her ears folded back as I stroke her head, the licks she gives me, ugh, everything about her makes me feel happy, she's just about the most affectionate animal I have EVER encountered

I would love to have the opportunity that you do working a wildlife preserve. Unfortunately the nearest one to me is in the next state.

Ouch, that sucks, but yes, it truly is an awesome experience and it gives me a sense or purpose. Being able to work with animals like Skitter, man, it helps me a lot but more importantly, it helps them

In my opinion working with animals like this is the best thing anyone can do. For instance if you are really stressed out just spend a little time with animals like that and next thing you know stress is gone.

Yeah, very much so, I can attest to that. Interacting with them has been shown to have many benefits for the brain and the body. Oxytocin, endorphins, lower blood pressure, reduction in the chemical cortizone which is released when anxious or stressed.

Yeah, totally unexpected but very welcome news after a very stressful week. I mean when I saw the email I was like "Say WHAT?" and told her that the schedule she had would work perfectly, seeing as I'm not going back to school for a while and all that jazz. VERY welcoming and heartening news. Not only that, but the support I've been getting for people here and on Facebook, etc has been wonderful
