It's such heartbreaking news for me that Ron Ron has passed because when I was much younger I was obsessed with foxes(well...still am...) and I used to watch foxalbiazul's video's among many others. So to hear that he has passed on just...stings :(

It does, it stings a lot, we gotta do what we can to support each other

I havent watched it because i dont think i will be able to handle it. I even started crying during the flashback scene in Zootopia. I try to keep a strong face on at all times, but anything about foxes can break through all my defenses. When i finally get a fox and the time comes for its passing, i know i will be broken.

It is a hard fact of life, but, fact or not, there is no real way to prepare for it. You just have to hold on to memories, and make the best of the road while you can.

Videos of that fox were some of the things that affirmed to me foxes are amazing critters and have a ton of personality. There were a ton of memorable times - a lot of Ron's sillier moments still get posted in gif form all over the internet. A lot of fox bloggers and youtube fox faves I've kept track of have sadly lost their foxes, and it's affected me the same way - an experience I've never known as I've never owned or felt up to owning a fox, but one that must be memorable, fun, hard work, but most of all one that's left a big ol' pawprint on the owners. As long as people post about em, there'll always be foxes and friends of foxes online.

Foxes are amazing, being able to work with them, it's something I'd never trade for the world.

Ron ron had Sakura petals on him... I believe its the sign of the end and the beginning... After all he died peacefully in spring.

I gave him a farewell salute to him and his earned youtube award.

His spirit and all of the adventures he had will always be remembered. Rest in peace, RonRon.

I can see why his passing would affect you. You spend so much time around foxes you seem to attached to them all. Here's to Ron Ron. *bows head in respect*

He was such a wonderful and amazing fox...

I mean, He lived way longer then expected, I read that their average life span is 5 years. Be glad you got to see all the videos of him happy and alive. He lived a long good life and is in a much much better place.

In captivity, foxes live 10-15, in the wild, 3-5 on average, that's the thing, he wasn't a wild fox, he was bred to be his beloved companion.

I think it really hit everyone hard, with how sudden it happened. The image of Ron laying there quietly... now stays in my head. I keep mulling over what could have happened. I've lost a companion as well some time ago, so I know what hes going through.

I can't remember the last time I cried like this.. It's like we lost one of our own. Ron Ron wasn't just a fox, he was a part of the other extreme that we love about this fandom. We see ourselves only through the human side and he was our rare glimpse of the other more animal side of it. All those years he shared with us his life and love giving us that perspective. His entire life was spent showing us just how much love he could give and make us smile.

Same here.... I watched Ron Ron for five years and I am quite sad to see him go... He was the fox that got me to loving foxes because of their fickle nature and was an inspiration to my fursona. I couldn't get it out of my head that Ron Ron passed away. My heart still aches from that wound

At least he died peacefully though.... Run you clever boy....
