Hmm... Seeking inspiration... Let's see... Ah, yes. Right now, the campaign that I run (based on my unfinished novel series), the players have found themselves caught up in a terrible situation. The Kirin (a sylvan race that are something like unicorns), have been cursed by a strange aura that pulses throughout the sylvan realm and causes perversions of nature... turning the purity of their land, into a place of mad men, undead, mutants and monsters. The purest of their leaders, and the even the Sylvan Queen have fallen subject to this evil that spreads across the land, and turns their beautiful sunshine into an endless, cold, and treacherous night. These heroes, familiar to this realm, have returned on word of its most horrible fate... they aim to set right this evil and become its undoing.

Challenge considered.... Lol challenge accepted. I think i've got it. I'm trying to add a turn at the end, but I'm not sure. I love the darkness so much. It' like, i want to put that triumphant turn around in the music, like, they end up succeding in resuing the lost land, and reversing it's fate, but i just love leaving everything dark. . . i'll let you here soon, and you give me guidance on how you think it should go, or if i even came close to the ball park of what you were expecting lol.

Although, in terms of "darkness", they may not succeed after all. To be honest, 2 of them have already died on this journey. many other quests have proven successful, but this would be the first time that 2 player characters died in the same scene. These foes have proven... difficult to overcome without great risk, and one of their companions may soon fall subject to the sylvan curse... possibly removing their most skilled healer, and their only guide through this, largely unexplored realm.
