For now anyway. Going to get the bypassed heater core fixed (and likely have to burp the system again, not hard, but a pain in the ass.). Then around springtime, I should start looking into getting the AC tested to see if there is a blockage in the line and maybe get it fixed with a simple flush and recharge.

Still don't trust it for cross country driving yet, but it's working it's way there.

Cool. As far as the AC goes, a blockage would be the orifice filter or tube, it will frost to it, but look for any oily line connections That's where the compressor oil n freon leaks. Good thing you got a new radiator because the AC will add a ton of more heat.
