... Okay, so its not so much the car's fault. I've been a broke-assed 'yote for... we'll say the last 9 months or so. Heh. And my car's been giving me issues probably for the last six. I finally relented because OklaCon managed to supply me with enough extra revenue to have the damned thing looked at and... lo and behold... I've been riding around in a DEATH TRAP for at least a good couple of months.
Guy took one look at the left side wheels and looked at me like it was a miracle I drove it in at all. Something about the left low ball joint and left wheel bushings being out... should never have driven it over 20 mph... if ball joint came off my wheel would buckle under the car, turning it into a death-sled of DOOM... et cetera. : /
So now my poor lil Corsica's sitting on a lot waiting to be looked at. I'll get a price quote on the work god-knows-when and maybe have her looked at by the end of the week. >.<

heh* and we are lucky, too, since you are still safe&sound.
I have a feeling buying a 'new' used car for a couple dollars might be cheaper than having the old one fixed. I imagine the front tyres being worn to death, too. also, the front wheels need an alingment after it, which costs extra money.
