Hi friends! This year is an exciting year! I finally went back to college, decided and committed to being a preschool teacher, and live in an area where I can celebrate being pagan without being shot down, frowned upon or insulted and to broaden my social group, I looked up local Pagan meet-up groups and came across Central Valley Pagan Pride, they are having a Festival in October that I was more than excited to attend. As I went through the site I saw they were looking for volunteers so I jumped at the opportunity!
I got the info and finally getting to the point I am setting up/running a booth called the Pumpkin Patch Spell station and we need some things to run it; we need: Bales of Hay, Dried corn stalks, 30+ Pumpkins, and some crafts and candies to make goodie bags for the kiddies!
So I am reaching out to ask if anyone would be willing to donate any amount of funds to help us set up. Some locals have already donated 2 bales of hay and some random decorations, Below I have put a link where you can donate and if you message me I can add your name to my “Special Thanks to…”recognition wall of people who have donated. I will be documenting the entire thing (Stuff I buy, setting up, the festival itself) and be uploading the album to my blog, facebook, and tumblr for those who wish to see what their contribution has gone to and how awesome it all was!
Thank you all for your time and if you’re in the area I hope to see you all there! Blessed be )O(

Statement of Purpose:
The Pagan Pride Project is a non-profit organization. The primary purposes of this corporation shall be the advancement of religion and elimination of prejudice and discrimination based on religious beliefs.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Pagan Pride Project is to foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and community.
Defining the Mission Statement:
We try to keep our purpose balanced through the inspirations of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth:
~Air: Education
We’re never going to be able to practice our spiritual paths openly if we don’t give the public accurate information about what we do and do not do.
~Fire: Activism
People aren’t necessarily going to go out of their way to find out what Pagans really do. We have to have the courage to act on our convictions and do what we need to do.
~Water: Charity
We know that what we do returns to us. We need to demonstrate this by offering compassion to our communities where it is needed. When we share our own abundance, we show that we trust the Gods to share abundance with us in return.
~Earth: Community
We’re never going to be able to practice openly if we don’t know anyone else in our local Pagan communities. We need to weave networking webs in our cities, in our towns, in our rural areas. We need these webs to support one another. That support will also show those who would restrict our practice that we are not just a few isolated wackos, but are a growing congregation of people who adhere to a faith that, while different, is as valid as their own.
