So my shitty job just got shittier! Membership merged into marketing
So now selling memberships is part of my job description. What is the
point of having membership staff now? So I have to force are crappy
memberships down peoples throats and meet a quota every month.
If I can or anyone that is, then I have to take a class on membership sales.
... I have been here 6 fucking years really? If we cant reach the quota
a second time, we get wrote up, then suspesion, then termination.
Fuck this job man seriously, I dont understand why they constantly try
to fix shit that isnt broken, and fix what is really wrong with the museum?
So now I can be fired for not shoving memberships down peoples throats...
Fucking hate this place, I'm looking for another job again.

They're trying to do that with ANY job that has direct interaction with 'potential customers'. It sucks for both the members being pushed into a sale and for the employees forced to do it. Sorry to hear it Mel, sounds like you need to hit up some Temp Agencies or something :/

A new store opened near my house recently I talk to the managers and employees all the time. Asking when they will hire because its a 10 min walk from my place. Down a private road with friendly people so a safe walk lol
