ohh its easy, seems that lately some artists as been doing clearly "cub art" ( or underaged charporn, clearly labeled as "CUB PORN" )
some started to report it, and it caused some angry bulk...
then a lot of ppl wanted it to be banned and the TOS enforced, since the ban is already there, but badly written ( lots of grey areas to abuse )
so I think dragoneer suggested banning and enforcing the tos, then a lot of cub-fans ( who many people insult them as pedos ) went all emo and said " if the ban is set, we will leave"
including some artists who are preety liberal ( those who support the constitution in the free speech thingie ),
dragoneer thus was forced to make a poll, wich was like 50% 50% (only 1 vote of diference )
then a lot of artists (mostly pros and skilled ones ) said that if cub art is not baned, they will leave because they will labeled as "pedos" for being in a site that condones cub porn(or underage)

dragoneer ended saying that they reached an agreement and will post them by monday

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation! I'm an art whore who'll draw anything, but kiddie stuff I just can't handle and is where I draw the line.

However, personally, if people are going to have an affinity for the artwork, I'd rather them get their kicks in front of a computer screen rather than doing something bad IRL. Just my personal opinion, and I don't know the whole situation.

Well, some artists do the art as art, but are called that because people think they're pedos. Art is art to me, and it's not always connected to RL, so, some is ok, but not the serious yiff. I dunno what to say really, I've seen worse than mature cub art on this site, so if it's not too graphic, I guess it's bearable.

Well, there's a reason that you can upload thumbnails. If you don't like a certain subject matter, nobody is forcing you to click it. I guess that's my opinion, the site shouldn't be forced to enforce personal responsibility, it should come naturally to people. (If only, LOL...)

*nod* I'm on the fence on this one, myself. If they wanna draw it, let 'em draw it. I'd rather them draw it than find some kid and experience it. I also believe the pleasure's more in the challenge of being able to draw something like that, and how -well- they can draw -all kinds- of art, rather than it being, pardon the definition here, 'some old guys drawing it and beating off to a couple of babies doing each other'.

I say, if they wanna draw it, they can draw it. They're not forcing anyone to look, and they're not breaking any laws.

I personally won't be drawing anything like that, though.

i am riding the fence, too, there.
i do not like seeing underaged characters having sex, much less if an adult is involved. since most of that art is badly drawn too, i even like it less, if that's possible.
banning it would lead to calls for banning everything else, though, so i abhor censorship and would like to have a filter installed. unfortunately many artists do not use the labels and tags, so there goes the filter.

i wouldn't have a problem if those artists who insist in drawing children characters in sexual situations would leave FA. i will stay here, vene though almost nobody would care, for the main reason that i won't duck out an run away due to some mouthy minority.
or even worse, some people who deem themselves - falsely - morally advantaged over the rest of humankind.

unfortunately a couple of my favourites are already gone for good. i hope they leave a link to someplace where i can at least enjoy their artwork...
