well this year i decided to take it seriously and celebrate it despite most Australians dont, so i got plenty of decorations and made a banner for our street i called it hideway halloween, so vamero, fink the shepard and myself suited up and hit the streets but with a twist, we did reverse trick or treating so instead of collecting it we gave it out, sadly not many houses had their porch lights on to give the ok for trick or treaters, the first kid and his father came up to us in our driveway and we gave him some of our candy and when we offered a little more he said to us "one is plenty thank you" that was a great start to the night, the next house had 3 kids, now seeing as we werent speaking we held out our cauldron buckets to them but they misunderstood us and gave us candy, so i gave some to them as well, after we left there i broke the silence and explain to the next house which was full of adults what we were doing, they loved us and took pictures of us, the last house we went to only had a guy in it, i explained our story again and gave him some candy, he was nice enough, on our way back my boss pulls over as i invited him and his kids over, he enjoyed seeing us suited up and see a more fun side to his employee, so we invited him back to our place to show off the decorations, as he was sussing it out, a group of teen or adults (i couldnt tell as it was so dark) came up to us for trick or treats, so we gave some to them and they were pleased, and of course i kept hearing from people asking me what does the fox say GRRRRRR, anywho once my boss and his kids came out with us we stopped over at our next door neighbours place who is good friends with us, who loved our suits and their greyhound 'blue' was happy to see us, after that we said our goodbyes and got out of suit, once our friend fink left i went outside only to find my prized decoration stolen!!! it was a helium ghost which set me back $20 was pulled off our letter box.... oh well


so yea it went great and i look forward to doing it again next year, i will upload some pics of us and our decorations later
