Discussion: Which one shot character should get another ep?

EQD was asking for ideas for a discussion post. I submitted the following: "A one shot character gets another episode that shows more background info. Which one shot character would you like to see and why?" Or something along those lines anyway. They replied that it was interesting in combination with something else... And what do they ask? "Which side character should come back and become an alicorn."
Euch. Really EQD? You still on the whole alicorn thing? Shouldn't we be passed that by now? But hey, you know what? I happen to be able to post a journal in a MLP fangroup on FA and I can ask the question just the way I want it! And I will! I think the question is interesting enough on its own without throwing in the alicorn hook, so... Which one shot character would you like to see return to get some more background info and why? For the record, with one shot characters I refer to characters that appeared only in one episode and had a speaking role. So, Gilda, Little Strongheart, the fanon-named Steven Magnet, miss Harshwhinny and so on and so forth. Discuss!

Perhaps just generally not pretending that episode never happened. I don't think the show will ever return to the level of continuity displayed in the first season, unfortunately, so we'll probably get more major events that are never referenced again. The show's really gone downhill.
But the Wonderbolts thing annoyed me just as much. I liked that episode and was happy they were finally letting the characters progress. I remember being excited to see how being a Wonderbolt would affect things with Rainbow Dash - would she be away for awhile? Would she have new duties? Would it go to her head? But... nothing. Others have said it's because they want the show to do better in syndication so they are taking all continuity out. If true, that's sad. The first season wasn't perfect, by any means, but it seems to have been dumbed down some since.
I'm also hoping they do SOMETHING with Princess Luna. It was like, all the hype of Nightmare Moon was just...it. Sure she got a Halloween ep but that was basically all aside from a blip during the whole crystal empire thing. Heck why couldn't she have gone there and kicked butt? LOL and the wedding...she shows up at the end? Don't tell me she didn't know there was a changeling fight going on---having her show up to help fight woulda been one awesome ace-in-the-hole move! ;)
1. Rarity: Of the mane 6 she's still never had an episode to herself.
2. Derpy: I believe there is more to this pony than credit is given by many. She's not stupid like many thing of her, that's snip's and snails's jobs.
3: Vinyl Scratch/ DJ pon3: She's only appeared in two brief moments, com'on Hasbro!
4: Trixie: I wanna see her without the "great and powerful" act, but rather a normal pony living a normal off stage life
as far as my fear on fim is that it slowly gets the Gen 3 "everypony is a princess now" thing.
5: Lyra Heartstrings: I'm not asking to see a house dedicated in the legends of the human or anything but i would like to see more about her.
6: Starswirl: I have believed since season 2 that Discord IS Starswhirl the breaded in a chaotic form, just for one episode I want to see twilight looking at her magic "hero" and faint thinking her idol is discord.
