"In other news today, Pelicans slugger Luis Marquez took a brief batting practice session before today's game against Tuscon to test out his right wrist, which he broke when he was hit by a pitch against these very Titans on August 16th. When asked, the left fielder said that he is not fully comfortable with it, but it wouldn't be too much longer before he is ready for a full comeback. "It feels all right," said Marquez, who was having another MVP-caliber season before the injury, "but I'm not sure about it yet and don't want to jeopardize the team and myself by coming back too soon. I want to be absolutely sure that I can play at the level I know I can play at before I say that I am ready to go." The Pelicans drop to 38-32 and are three games behind the 1st-place Swamp Foxes after a lackluster 2-0 loss, so the return of Papi Gato could not come at a better time for the club as they are already locked into the playoffs after winning the 1st half in the Eastern Division, and looking to return to their winning ways in time for the postseason."
