it is pricey and i feel it is not worth the money.. the screen has flaws: it's not bright enough, and the screen is quite blurry. but being Wacom, the pressure sensitivity is great. I however do not recommend this product :/.
my first drawing tablet was the Wacom Bamboo tablet, which you can find at the link Leonardlion_o gave!
it is not a screen tablet, but it is a great tablet for a cheaper price!! I have not tried the newer versions of bamboo, I had an older model from about 5 years ago... I am sure the quality and buttons in it now are awesome!
Like many have said before, a wacom tablet is your best shot, they are somewhat cheep and well worth it, because I've had one and they do last forever, and really good to start with.
