Dress to be raped?
I know many here like myself enjoy stories and images of rape fantasies, and many here do not. Regardless of our views of such fantasies real rape is a very serious issue that happens all the time to men, women, girls, and boys of all genders and relationship statuses.
First off, dressing sexy is not "asking to be raped."
Secondly, it's nice to see that someone out there has been working on clothing that can be worn that is still sexy and actually does prevent rape.
But they can't do it alone. They need support to get this project into production. Here's a little blurb about this awesome product that I definitely want to see hit the market (I know, coming from such an anti-capitalist that sounds weird, but this deserves recommendation).
Anti-rape wear. Its almost impervious to knife attacks and tearing/stretching.
The waist and thigh extremities of the garment are cut and tear resistant (the guy in the video cant cut them with industrial scissors) and they cannot be moved more than a few centimetres when locked into place, the forward area in front of the genitals is also reinforced.
Please, for the love of god, even if you cant donate, just spread this idea wherever you can, they need $50,000 to be able to manufacture it and they currently have just over $6,000 with 20 days left.
(Update: $39.5k with 16 days left. Let's get this project funded and help protect loved ones/ourselves.)
Go to igg.me/at/AR-Wear to donate and/or view their full info.
Now, speaking as someone with male friends who have been raped I also hope that the success of this project for women will also lead to similar clothing options for the male body.

As was said above, there's no such thing as 'asking to be raped' by the way one is dressed (though the jury is still out on the little cock teasers that flirt until the poor guy has a bad case of blue-balls and the walks away laughing at him ... ok, that's not grounds either, but it is rather stupid of the tease - and they or someone else sometimes pays for it ... not good, not good at all.)
Being alert to your surroundings, using common sense, and knowing how to defend yourself seems like a lot better option than hope your armor holds up.
As to 'taking out frustration' it should be noted that studies indicate that resisting rape only rarely increases the likelihood of personal injury. Typically, if they are going to harm or kill you they will do it whether you resist or not.
Also, we keep talking in terms of male rapists and female victims, but I would remind that male>female rape is estimated to be about 40% to 50% of rapes. Male>male, Female>male, and Female>female taking up the other 60 to 50%.
