About 2 Years ago I declared that I was mostly moving to SoFurry, but I was still doing some stuff here every once in awhile. But now... with the poor handling of the security problems this aging infrastructure and toxic community... I'm just done with this shit site.
I'll keep my account up here for a while at least, I'll still read one webcomic here I like. But that's it. If you want to contact me or see any of my newer writing then follow me over at SoFurry and Inkbunny (especially for the stuff I can't put on SoFurry, which is a fair bit of my latest work).
Why now? Well, it wasn't the security breach at first. The number of people that came from FA over to FN and fraudulently shut down the only reason I wanted to use FN really highlighted the toxicity here. Then, when I came back to try updating things on my various FA accounts... ugh, this terribly implemented security features now make it unbearable. My other accounts here will now languish, untouched because I don't want to go through this shit for managing such minor things. Basically, FA has raised the bar of difficulty for using their site too high. It's just not worth it.
As to FN, I honestly don't see their business model working out the way they say it will, so while I have an account there, that's just because they won't let me delete it yet.
