Holiday wishlist meme

not-fun and
chaz-fox have all posted this too, so why not.Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
~Step 2~
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special!
~Step 3~
The List
1) I'm actually pretty well-off financially and have no desire for specific physical gifts (if there were something I knew I wanted I'd just buy it myself). So, help to fill other peoples' wish lists, and donate to charities like http://modestneeds.org/ that make a huge difference in peoples' lives.
2) I'd also like all my friends who are in less-than-awesome financial situations to not feel so less-than-awesome.
3) That said, it'd be nice if I got more comments on my work, and pointers on how to improve...
4) and I'd REALLY like a fanbase that motivates me to work on more stuff.
5) Of course thanks to the lack of 4 nobody's going to see this wishlist anyway, so.
6) Give peace a chance.
7) Say nice things to people you respect.
8) Rephrase insults as constructive criticism.
9) Accept criticism as an opportunity for improvement rather than as something to get angry about.
10) Be awesome.

Of course, point 5 and subsequent aren't really wishes, but whatever. #2 just happens to complement my own one wish. I've been asked what I wish for Christmas, and the only thing I could think of was "to survive the winter". As for fans, let alone other artists willing to give you feedback, it's a wonder any of us even gets noticed anymore in this day and age.

OP
6 and later are wishes in the "this is what I want you to do" sense. A lot of folks are putting those into their wishlists already, so there's precedent, at least.
