So, I went to my first meet ever in Manchester yesterday, and it was pretty awesome. I got the chance to put some faces to names, meet some people in person, like Fioxy, Sora Yasha, Wolven, and Istauri, who were exceptionally cool, and bum around the city a little bit. I'd never seen fursuits in person before in my life, and whilst really it's not my thing, there were some really cool ones there. If I had a suit like Saethwr, I'd wear it to meets and stuff for sure.
The bar was nice, I had an interesting fruity vodka thing, thanks to Daravel!

Since I can be shy and very scared of large groups of people I was pretty impressed with myself. I tried hard to be forthcoming and social, and whilst I wasn't the life of the party, I certainly wasn't a complete wallflower, either. I do much better in a group of 2 or 3. I'm just going to have to go to more meets to get practise in!

I went home as soon as it was dark because my boyfriend was sick and I wasn't sure that I'd be able to recognise landmarks I needed in order to get the bus home. Indeed, I was lost for a half hour, but there was a hot bath waiting for me at home, so good stuff for the grey foxie.

Also I did a sketch and got some Pocky from Sora Yasha so that rocked pretty hard.
