Anything you find online, you can do better by building your own. Prebuilt comps are ALWAYS marked up.

Well no shit but I'm really not hardware savvy, so everything I've ever built in the past like robot kits etc just fails. So I'm better with prebuying one.

Ask friends who are good at that , me and my brother build our owns and they last for long while not being super expensive:3

Honestly if i would dont know about PC's and knowing "the benefits" i would gladly buy someone even 40$ game gift for "building good pc"

becouse 1: you save a lot on parts you wont need to replace soon

2 well build machine will last for long time while actualy being quite affordable

even if you read guides to build almost perfect build you need knowledge and beyond , you need to know about parts , components , read about "how well they preform to others" in benchmarks , tests and all that info keeps constantly changing

well, i built my own gaming computer a couple years ago for 650. i still runs everything well. the specs of my own PC are actually similar to this one. its sad that to get this kind of price prebuilt you need to wait for black friday deals. but yes, thats what i would expect to pay to build a similar rig normally.

Eh, not seeing anything screaming at me that it's wrong.
I'll caution on Windows 8 without a touchscreen, but you can grab Start Menu 8 from IOBit to make that a non-issue (turns it into Windows 7).
It'd be nice to have the OS on an SSD, as well as common programs, but that could always be done at a later date.

So yeah, nothing screaming at me that it's not a good buy. Just be aware if your monitor is the older VGA style the new graphics card may not have the output for it, and since the computer doesn't come with a monitor, you might need to get a converter.

Really depends on what you're gonna do with it. Seems like a decent all-around build, other than it having windows 8, though Dell is weird about proprietary parts last I checked, and thus it might be hard to upgrade in the future....

Looks decent to me, only things I'm not crazy about are the fact that it's a Dell (just cause Dell isn't very good a brand IMO), and the fact that the sound card is integrated. Meaning that it's attached to the motherboard, so if your sound card goes bad, you have to replace the whole motherboard which can be very expensive.
