Howdy! Love your work, and I just wanted to ask what you do to get out of an art slump, if and when you encounter them. Currently in the final stretch of a painting but I'm having trouble staying motivated.

Sadly I'm not an artist, and I haven't written anything in a while... But I think maybe try going in a new direction and leave that one behind for a tiny bit. Try some other sketches, or practice something unusual but you've been interested in, etc!

To make a homemade caramel sauce combine 1/2 cup brown sugar and a tablespoon of cornstarch. Stir in 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup light cream, 2 tablespoons corn syrup, and 1 tablespoon butter. Stir over medium heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Makes a great addition to various pastries or ice cream!
