Are there any plans to release the artwork for thingie in the basement?

Not at this time, no. The moment I offer it as a purchasable pack, it is final and as a game it will then never be made. At this moment, the project is in carbonate stasis, meaning while no work is being done on it (or is planned in the future) it could still be picked up someday if all our shedules align.

From what I have seen, Gachi Muchi Kun is done. Hell, they even took it off their site (which hasn't been updated in a few years), that is more than carbonate stasis, seems like a guarantee it'll never be made. I talked to them about a year and a half ago and they said the same thing and there has been no word since. I say just cut the losses and sell an image pack of the artwork instead of this odd choice to do a CG image pack.

Seems like a waste just to sit on god knows how much work was done on the hope that maaaaaaybe it'll get done some day. Are you even shopping around and looking for others who may be interested in making it?

It's nice to see people still take an interest in it but all the speculation is making it larger in scope than what it will eventually be. Making those games is a very complex process and requires time and patience to devote to it. It's also a group effort so people depend upon you to deliver frequently in order not to stop the production process. Combining this with a full time job and daily chores proves impossible. Shopping around is therefore irrelevant, also as I do not own the story rights. The choice to make a CG image pack is completely unrelated to the gameart and comes from the fact that there are many straight cg packs out there, but very few gay ones. And it is something I can produce on my own, regardless of any time constraints.

Well, I brought up the cg image pack because it's not really what people know you for. I mean, if someone else made a cg image pack, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between their work and yours considering the models aren't even built from scratch ones. All of that time could've been done for something more worthwhile like your hand drawn art.

I guess my grievances stem from the fact that, unlike other artists who will mostly release their own stuff, you tend to try to piggyback off of other peoples work instead of just releasing shit on your own. TTITB is just one, another example would be the image pack released in Dokkun-zine, which is, from what I can tell, fairly obscure. I mean, as it stands, you have spent a lot of time on TTITB and you, as far as I can tell, have yet to make a profit on it. I guess my point is, why don't you ever just release your own work instead of relying on others? And not cg work, I meant actual, hand drawn art.

I mean, do you not care that you spent time on it, only for the project to fall through? It seems as though you are completely indifferent to any failures you are a part of.

Sure, it's never nice that something falls through but in the grander scope of things, this is really not that important. The projects I choose to work on, I choose them because they are interesting for me personally to work on, being it subject matter, people I know, etc. That may be poser models or sketching, depending on my mood (you can never know enough different media as an artist). Some of the projects I chose may seem obscure but I pick them because I find them interesting or better, worthwhile, to do for the reasons above.
I'm glad you picked up the pack. It proved a new sort of 'challenge' to meet. Stuff that's pretty much established with doing 2D art and doesn't pose any problems anymore, suddenly is much more challenging to do in 3D. It's with that intention that I made it and it was really fun to do. And when I noticed they're almost no gay packs out there, it seemed a good choice to make one. You can never please everybody and it's by no means I'm abandoning 2D art.

Well, as far as your 2d art, you post so scarcely that there really isn't anything to "abandon". But I didn't buy the pack and I kind've laughed when it was released. (I said I brought up the pack, not bought). But like I said, whenever you start making reasonable decisions and release the Thingie in the Basement art, let me know and I'll buy it. But buying a cg image pack? LOL

You sure have a hard time in letting this go, haven’t you? At some point in your life I hope you realise that hammering home your opinion isn’t gonna have the effect you want. In all this I realised one thing; now that I know that there are people like you dead set on getting their hands on the thingie artwork I will never release it to the general public. We can have you to thank for that. I wish you well.

Remember, as with any artist/writer etc...they're allowed to do whatever they want. Be it making and selling and image pack, doing stuff for a magazine, doing stuff for a paysite, it's their choice on what they want to do. With you saying whatever Kupopo's currently doing is wrong until he does something you want him to do, it just doesn't work because it comes off as insulting and selfish.

Before I send a message, would there be any issues if the email used for the statement is different from the one I use for paypal?

As long as your paypal name matches your age confirmation you can use different emailadresses if you prefer. I just have to make sure the person who pays for it is of adult age (in the assumption that minors do not have paypal adresses with a creditcard attached to it).
