How do I dealt with food-stealing puppy
So Angel has a bad habit: begging and stealing food. She tries to jump and grab at whatever you're eating, or planning to eat. I ignore her when she whines and barks and shove her away when she tries to jump, but recently she's been getting a little sneakier.
Tonight I was making some rolls and I had them sitting out on the table while I waited for the oven to heat up. I thought that they were too high and too far in on the table for her to reach, but somehow she got the pan and knocked it to the floor while I was doing dishes less than a foot away. So I slapped her and said NO, and when she got very violent when I tried to take the rolls and pan away from her. I put her outside. My mom eventually lets her in, where she makes multiple attempts to steal her dinner. She eventually runs into the bathroom and grabs some cat poop and starts munching on it, and of course mom gets up to take it from her and clean it up. In that few seconds she's over at my mom's plate eating her dinner.
The night before Thanksgiving she somehow got a piece of raw turkey and bit my mom so hard that it broke the skin when she tried to take it from her. :| I always try to keep her bowls full of fresh water/food, so I don't know what the fuck.

Hard.
I don't mean punch her .. just a slap.
I know it sounds mean, but she isn't taking the nicer responses clearly.
If you don't want to go that way, you're going to have to crate train her. Crate training can be great anyway, for when no one is home or you have youngsters coming over and are worried about jumping.
I would crate her during dinner, preparation and consumption. If you do it in a way, she will learn that she isn't invited to the people food.
I don't know how to crate train, since our dogs got put in the other room while dinner was happening, but I know it is easy to find since it is rather popular now.
We never had an example of food related aggression.
She can have water during the day, but try and not feed her. Dogs only need to eat once a day unless medically advised otherwise.
Do not yell at her if she messes up. This will do nothing. What you can do in place of hitting is to take your hand and gently push down on her neck, kind of like a dog's mouth biting her, to correct her.
Now that he's older, we just placate him with these treats that help clean and strengthen his teeth. His teeth aren't in such good shape, he actually had to have some removed a few years back. He loves those treats and doesn't really beg anymore, so it's pretty much a win/win. I think he still lays down under the table at dinner though, just in case anybody drops something.
TL;DR, I have no real experience with your particular problem.
Her meals can take place in the kitchen or the dining room, but they have to be on a different schedule. Until you see improvements, don't snack in front of her while she's eating.
Hitting her is only good for getting her attention. It's not going to be enough of an incentive to think that if she robs food she'll be struck.
To help with food aggression, you should feed her out of your hands and start teaching her perform tricks for treats. But keep the type of treat you give her consistant.
I'll try to do more of what you and KingDead said. I'll have to get my mom to do the same, but she seems to prefer screaming and waving her arms.
lol, like I know what I'm talking about.
never
stop
barking.

And yeah I know about the letting her out and barking for attention but with neighbors (and her barking so piercing I can hear it down the street with all the doors and windows closed) there's not much I can do :/
