Made it through 2013 fairly quietly.. then I go and screw it up in the end stretch. Here is hoping 2014 is a year of second chances and renewal. I hope time fixes everything as it tends to do, but until it does expect pretty much silence from me until I'm sure I've got my head on straight again. I don't want to risk ruining more friendships due to my own ignorance and poor judgement. I'll still be around for those that want to talk, but don't be surprised if I'm not much for conversation. I will delete this journal when something changes. Until then, isolation seems like the safest course of action until I rediscover the value of friendship and once again consider others' feelings/well-being/desires a greater value than those of my own. Or better yet a happy medium to where I'm not in a constant fear of ruining things for everyone.
