January 3rd 2014, my amazing friend Lindsay Graves,
LadySin, passed away, after fighting her battle with cancer for months
Ever since I met her through a chance encounter in 2010, she had always been a staple in my life. She was always there whenever I wanted to talk from the highs and the lows... and talk we did. Her optimism was consistently there, even towards her final months. She was a great artist, always loved to draw. If she wasn't watching a movie or chatting with people, she was always trying to devise a new fursona or two.
The one thing that I missed was that I knew implicitly that she was 100% truthful. There was no ulterior motive, nothing left to second guess... what she said, she meant fully. She was so genuine, so caring, something that is sadly too rare in this world.
I still have her added on IM, and I keep checking my texts and e-mail, expecting a message. I know one will never come. She's gone, and my world's gotten a bit darker because of it. At least I know she's no longer suffering in pain. I just hope that you realize how loved and cared about you were, by so many people.
Goodbye Lindsay. You were such a wonderful person. I'm glad to have known you, and I can't express how sad I am that you were taken from us well before your time.
Rest in Peace. 1987-2014.
For those that managed to get through all of this, please, please, PLEASE do me a favor and go tell someone you love them. You might never get the chance to.

You described Lindsay to a tee. It is sad she left so many behind but it is good to see how many truly cared for her and will miss her.
